Custom Card Artwork

All SRX™ Program Sponsors and Merchants have the option to create an SRX™ card with custom artwork that advertises their business, organization, event, school, church, etc. The card effectively acts as a “Billboard” for you every time your customer looks inside their wallet or purse, or uses their card at other participating SRX™ merchant locations, effectively branding your identity.

If you would like to create an SRX™ card, you must conform to the following requirements when creating the artwork for the card.

SRX™ Card Printing
Our Alliance Partners produce the cards in-house, thereby speeding up the process and assuring quality control. The cards are digitally produced, allowing for a wide range of image production. The card itself is laminated over a synthetic substrate that is waterproof and UV resistant. The cards are approximately the same weight and thickness of a PVC card. Only HICO mag stripe material is used to prevent corruption of the encoded data. We offer; Mag stripe, mag stripe key fob, bar code scan (U.S. & Euro), smart chip cards, and contactless swipe, or any combination of the above.

SRX™ Compatibility w/Credit Card Processors
Riding over the credit card processing program core, neither interfering with the credit card processing, nor is SRX™ interfered with by the credit card processing. SRX™ has the unique capability of riding the same networks as that of your credit card transactions, with the same security, without having to interact with any specific credit card processor. And, SRX™ allows the loading of (cash) independent of the credit card processing or processor networks.

SRX™ Card Loading Capabilities
SRX™ cards can be loaded with value ($$$) in a number of ways, including via standard POS terminals (upon which the program is certified), on a PC or laptop with a card swipe plugged into your mouse or USB port, using PC Charge software and a PC or PC register, through a web site set up to authorize the loading via a Virtual Terminal in Internet Explorer, or over Nextel cell phones via an attached card swipe device, or by using a Pay By Touch system.

Image Size
All submitted artwork should be sized 2.25"H x 3.5"W. The finished card size is 2.125" x 3.375". DO NOT place any printing within the bottom one-half inch (1/2") of the card, as the card number is imprinted there. As shown below. However, you may include a background image in the bottom one-half inch (1/2") of the card. See the diagram and sample below.



File Format
For best results, create your image at full size at 300 ppi (pixels per inch). Save your artwork in TIFF or Photoshop format at 300 ppi at full size. DO NOT save in JPEG or GIF formats. Files may be saved in PC or Macintosh format. You may also compress your files in LZW, Zip, or StuffIt formats for faster e-mailing.

Colors
For best results, please save your artwork in CMYK mode. If your card has specific spot colors you would like us to use, please indicate which colors to use and where to use them.

SRX Rewards™ Logo
The “Powered By SRX™” logo must appear on the front or back of the card. While there is no special place where the SRX™ logo must appear, its size should not be any less than 0.8" (2 cm) wide. All scaling of the logo must be proportional to its original dimensions in the digital file, which is accessible following execution of all program documentation.

Delivery
You may email your artwork file to: artwork@SRX.com. If you experience any problems, you may also save your artwork on a CD-ROM or a Zip drive and mail it in.

Accepted File Formats

For Art/Graphics: Camera-ready art, or files created with any of these programs;

IBM/PC Platform Quark Xpress PhotoShop Illustrator Freehand Corel Draw 7.0

Macintosh Platform Quark Xpress 4.1 PhotoShop 5.5  Illustrator 8.0 Pagemaker  Freehand 8.0  Corel Draw 6.0

Customer Fulfillment Timeline

The program requires three items for implementation by a customer;

1) A fully completed and signed application (and the selection of your rebate offer, merchants), with payment in full (if you are issuing cards, or do not have compliant equipment).
2) A choice of card image or supply of artwork for custom cards.
3) Artwork, graphics and text ready to set up your FREE web marketing page at the SRX Rewards™ web site.

Custom cards can ship within 10 business days of approval of the card artwork proof.
